Meet our Leadership

Director: Chris Coffman

Chris has been part of the paintball industry since 2012 and has spent the last eight years coaching athletes both on and off the field. As a former Marine, he brings leadership, discipline, and a strong sense of community to everything he does. Passionate about supporting locally owned businesses and youth-focused organizations, Chris is dedicated to growing the sport of paintball and building opportunities for the next generation.

Board Member: Meredith Croom

Meredith is the co-owner and operator of Grants Creek Nursery, where she combines her love of plants with a dedication to serving her community. A wife and mom of two, she values family above all and brings that same care into her work and community involvement. She is passionate about supporting other locally owned businesses and championing youth-focused organizations.

Board Member: Kathy Haas

Kathy is a proud mom of two from Jacksonville, NC, with a passion for giving back to her community. When she’s not spending time with her family, she’s traveling with Coup Athletics, supporting the team at tournaments both locally and across the state. Community, family, and the thrill of competition are at the heart of everything she does.

Coach: Matt Maruna

Matt began playing paintball in 2019 as part of his college team but found his true home in the sport when he joined Jacksonville Paintball Park and Coup Athletics in 2023. After competing with the D5 line, he quickly grew into a leadership role, serving as Captain of the 2024 D5 squad that went on to claim first overall in the CPXL 2025 season. Today, Matt continues to compete on the D4 line while sharing his experience as a coach and mentor for youth players in the Youth Paintball League (YPL).

Coach: Jayden Bruckbauer

Jayden has been competing in paintball since 2022 and has spent the past two years coaching and mentoring young athletes in the sport. As a junior in high school, he brings a unique perspective and strong connection to the youth paintball community. Passionate about growing the game, Jayden is dedicated to supporting the next generation of players both on and off the field.
